How does bail work?
1. A judge sets bail amount
After someone is arrested, the court sets a bail amount, which can vary based on the charges and other factors. Bail is set as a way of making sure the defendant appears at the scheduled court dates after being released from jail.
2. You contact Advantage Bail
After the bail amount is set, the first thing to do is contact Advantage Bail for free
initial bail information. We will put our expertise and experience to work for you immediately. Simply provide us with basic information. You can call 918-682-7000, or you can apply online
and we will get to work on your case immediately.
3. Processing and release
We then work with you or your loved one and the jail to secure release by issuing a bond in the full amount of the bail set by the court. Depending on the circumstances, collateral or a co-signer may be required. After everything is settled, your loved one gets out of jail to start working on his or her case.
